The ladies are in the house! The new Showtime drama ‘The First Lady’ held its red carpet premiere on Thursday, Apr. 14, bringing out stars Viola Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer, Gillian Anderson and more out to celebrate the series. The new show tells the story of the Obama, Ford, and Roosevelt administrations from the perspective of the President’s right-hand women and is set to premiere. on Sunday, Apr. 17.
The stars were dressed to the nines for the event, which took place at the DGA Theater Complex in Los Angeles. Here, Viola, Gillian and Michelle gather for a photo together.
Also joining the festivities were leading men co-stars O-T Fagbenle, (President Barack Obama), Kiefer Sutherland (President Franklin D. Roosevelt), Dakota Fanning (Susan Ford), and Judy Greer (Nancy Howe, Betty Ford’s close confidante). Viola‘s husband Julius Tennon and Michelle‘s husband David E. Kelley were also in attendance.
